When will I see results, and how long do cheek fillers last?

You’ll see results right away, but mild swelling can temporarily affect your look. Most results settle within about 1–2 weeks. Longevity varies by product and metabolism, but cheek filler commonly lasts around 6–18 months.

What types of Dermal Filler do you offer?

We offer Restylane and Juvederm products.

Will cheek filler make my face look puffy or overfilled?

The goal is natural-looking contour, not a “puffy” look. With thoughtful placement and conservative dosing, cheek filler can enhance structure and support the mid-face without looking overdone. If you’re concerned, your provider can start with less and build gradually.

What does it feel like?
We apply an icepack before and after to help ease any discomfort. Depending on your treatment area, we may also apply a topical anaesthetic to numb the region. You can also take Tylenol before and after the session to help reduce any pain, but do not take ibuprofen (Advil) or any blood thinners.
What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occuring compound produced by the body that helps retain moisture and keeps skin plump & hydrated. You may recognize this compound from serums and moisturizers, as it's a popular humectant—it pulls water into skin and can hold 1000x its weight in water. It's the main ingredient in dermal filler and its soft, gel-like form makes it easy to create natural-looking results.
What side effects or risks should I know about?

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising at the injection site. Rare risks can happen with any filler, which is why it’s important to be treated by experienced medical providers. Your provider will review your health history and talk through safety and expectations before treatment.

Can I workout after?
Plan on getting your workout in before this treatment, and avoid exercise, along with other physical activities that make you sweat, for 24 hours after treatment.
